I'm going to tell you about something which is very impressive and outrageous for colombia. It is about falses positives.
in colombia it has existed the violence and it is cause for the guerrilla a group bad. so this new story is about a mother who lost her son and nephew due to the armed forces. The mother’s name is Beatriz Mendez. She waited for her son ( Wieima) and her nephew (Edward) in june 12, 2004, but they never arrived home.
For some days she and her family went to the police station and hospital’s but she didn’t find anything. until one member of the family, he said to beatriz that he had to hear on the radio, news some two people who were found in ciudad bolivar, Bogota (a poor neighborhood) dead. one´s name was Edward.
She and her sister went to the morgue, when they saw the face of her son’s, they were very scared, because the people were tortured, but they had uniforms of the guerrilla with blood and boots.
This is very common in the poor families, because they are more vulnerable, and they are people which the justice will not do much for them. the armed forces, dressed to youngers of the guerrilleros and they murder them. with the final purpose to make believe the people that they are killing guerrilleros, but this is false.
This is very impressive because, how is it possible that the people realize things are very bad for a profit. People no longer put themselves in other people's shoes, they don't care how it feels their mothers and family. we should be more conscious about this, it find a way to stop this. but, how?
i’m chose this new because I was toched, what happened to beatriz happens very often to many mothers, in colombia there are many cases of murder and justice seems not to see it.When will be the day that in Colombia you can leave and something does not happen to us?. I hope soon.
